There are at least two shops in the UK that have been making aluminum bits for lightweight conversions for many years. They make all those custom bits like the vents etc.. There are many of them at historic races. If you can do the work yourself you can make it more reasonable. They have the low drag bits too, I like those:

I heard they're using Lucas components as well, so it'll be just as reliably unreliable as the original E-Type. For that authentic E-Type ownership experience.
